Syngonium podophyllum is a popular houseplant. Common names include: arrowhead plant, arrowhead vine, arrowhead philodendron, goosefoot, nephthytis, African evergreen, and American evergreen.
Arrowhead plants can live in water indefinitely if conditions are right and water is changed every 1–2 weeks to keep it fresh and oxygenated. Ensure roots are fully submerged but the base of the stem isn’t sitting too deep in water to prevent rot. Check for slimy or unhealthy roots during water changes and trim as needed.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Arrowhead plants thrive in bright, indirect light but can tolerate low-light conditions. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves. Once potted, water when the top 2-3cm of soil feels dry. Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Allow excess water to drain to prevent root rot. Prefers higher humidity levels. Mist leaves occasionally or place a humidifier nearby, especially in dry climates. Grouping with other plants can also help increase humidity. Ideal temperature range is 18–27°C. Keep away from cold drafts, air conditioning vents, and heaters. Syngonium is toxic to pets and humans if ingested. Keep out of reach of children and animals.
